[:en]Career Disha Nepal’s take at Earthquake ridden Sindhupalchowk[:]

[:en]Career Disha Nepal successfully completed psychometric assessment results in Nepali Version to 50 earthquake victim young students at Phatakshila Higher Secondary School, Sindhupalchowk. The personal assessment results recommend every individual with a list of possible career with detail information of what education they should choose and how compatible are they with the selected career choice. It was CDN’s approach at helping the grief-stricken Sidhupalchowki, by providing a long term support by guiding them with the choice of education. Our take at a famous quote ‘Give man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. ’ The students completed a 4 day workshop that included job market workshops, My Future Pro and interest based Psychometric Assessment, led by CDN expert psychologist Mr. Hari Krishna Dahal with the help of Mrs. Jyoti Nepal. During those exiting 4 day workshops, the students recognized their own passion, their stronger side, suitable job sectors and leisure activities through My Future Pro. They were also informed about the locally available jobs and their basic requirements through job market workshops. Career Disha Nepal participated in the Web Summit, 2016 at Lisbon, Portugal. The world’s largest technology conference that lasted for five days. Technological CEOs, founders, startups, investors and political leaders, all together more than fifty thousand attendees from more than 150 countries, came together in Lisbon for the Web Summit. There were 600 speakers, from different professional areas such as Computer and Information Technology, Design, Music, Sports, Society, Machine, Startup University, Security, Marketing, just to name a few.

There were several booths, presentations and speakers all related to technology.  Career Disha Nepal also attended the conferences as one of the IT related organization, and displayed CDN services through the booth. CDN got a chance to tell about the organization and its services through media as well.

We hope the five days conference was fruitful for Career Disha Nepal in a long run. Representative from Career Disha Nepal, project  team members, Mr. Saroj Bastola (CEO & Founder), Mrs. Ingeborg Patsch (Technical Director),Hari Krishna Dahal (Founder & Psychological Analyst),and Patrick Menke(Website Developer) From German, got the opportunity to introduce our services internationally and this Web Summit also opened the door for possible international donors and partner organizations.

[:en]CDN in CDT-CES Program of LIfE[:ne]लाइफले गरेको सि.डी.टि-सि.ई.एस कार्यक्रममा सि.डी.एन[:]

From the 29th of August to 2nd of September 2016, Labour Market Information and Employment Services (LIfE) Project conducted 5 days Capacity Development Training: Counseling and Employer Services (CDT-CES) program with the support of International Labor Organization (ILO), Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Ministry of Labor and Employment (MLE) held at the Hotel View Bhrikuti, Godabari, Lalitpur.

Counselor Mr. Hari Krishna Dahal took part in these 5 days CDT-CES program representing Career Disha Nepal. Similarly, the member and employer of LIfE and other counseling related organization also participated.

In this training program, there were discussion about different type of counseling methods, employment and career counseling, necessary tools and technology of career counseling, and the process of career counseling. Similarly, the required information that the employer needs to give his/her employee was discussed as well.

According to CDN representative Mr. Dahal, the program was beneficial for CDN in making effective career counseling. In addition, CDN got the opportunity to introduce its services to different government and non-government organizations, associate with them as well as ask them for CDN partnership.

लाइफले गरेको ‘क्षमता विकाश तालिम: परामर्शकर्ता र रोजगारदाताको सेवाको लागि’ (सि.डी.टि-सि.ई.एस) कार्यक्रममा करियर दिशा नेपाल (सि.डी.एन) को तर्फबाट परमर्शकर्ता हरि कृष्ण दहाल सहभागि हुनुभएको थियो | त्यस्तै गरेर सो सि.डी.आइ-सि.ई.एस कार्यक्रममा लाइफका कर्मचारीहरु तथा रोजगारदाताहरु, साथसाथै करियर परामर्श संग सम्बन्धित अन्य संघ संस्थाहरुका प्रतिनिधिहरुको पनि उपस्थिति रहेको थियो |

उक्त प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रममा, विभिन्न परामर्श विधिहरु, करियर परामर्श, व्यवसायीक परामर्श, रोजगारी परामर्श, परामर्श गर्नलाई आवश्यक पर्ने विधि र प्रविधि को बारेमा त्यस्तै श्रमदाताहरुले श्रमकर्मीहरुलाई दीनुपर्ने जानकारीहरुको बारेमा छलफल गरिएको थियो |
