Result of Market Survey
In the summer of 2015, 50 parents from around Bhaktapur were surveyed via a questionnaire that listed questions ranging from their education to the likelihood of them wanting their child to study in Nepal. By a vast majority, it was evident that parents regardless of where they lived (City or Village) or their level of education, that they were unaware of Career Coaching. However, it was overwhelming to see that over 84% of the parents were interested to have their children attend career counseling.
It does not take a lot for us to understand that most parents are worried about their children’s uncertain future. This was more popular amongst the parents whose highest education was Bachelors. At the same time it too was analyzed that parents with 2 or more children too were more “highly interested” than “interested”. Also, it was found that people preferred school as their number one most influencing source of information, be it about jobs or recommendation for educational institutes etc.
It was encouraging to see that all parents informed us that they provide freedom for their children and at the same time over 60% of the parents would regard the job recommended by the assessment earnestly.

Social Enterprise and Crowd Funding Workshops (Nov. 26, 2015)

First Market Survey Insights
Since, Nepal is a male dominated country, it is obvious that female are deprived from many opportunities. However, this has been changing rapidly in city areas. But there are still many places where female are not allowed to get out of their houses for other causes. This shows female population are in need of these tools more than male. And surprisingly, this has been true from our survey report as well. Female students are highly interested in our products than when compared to male students.
All three products namely, Career Workshop, Individual Counselling and Online Assessment are mostly preferred by government school students when compared with private schools. Also students who are less or not interested are relatively higher from private schools. This shows that students from private schools are more aware about their career and are focused to their goals. However, those from government schools are in need of these products and would consider it for their career enhancement.
Career workshop will be accepted by huge number of students if we consider both interested and high interested students. However, there is a slight increment in highly interested students for individual counselling. There are relatively more students who are interested for online assessment. Nevertheless, we should also consider students who are totally not interested with this product and comparatively they are higher than in other 2 products i.e. 11%
Hence, according to our findings, highly interested and interested students for career workshops, online assessment and individual counselling are 89%, 82% and 78% respectively. So, the finding shows career workshop as the most preferred product among three. And the least preferred is individual assessment.
All three products namely, Career Workshop, Individual Counselling and Online Assessment are mostly preferred in village area than in city area with 98%, 90% and 86% respectively. Also students who are less or not interested are relatively higher in city area. This shows that students living in city area are more aware about their career and are focused to their goals. However, those from village area are in need of these products and would consider it for their career enhancement.
32% female student and 16% male student prefer school for career workshop. 13% female student and 14% male student prefer other place. Similarly, for online assessment 28% female student and 12% of male student prefer home. There is also high percentage of students preferring other places for online assessment i.e. 21% female student and 15% male student. In the similar manner, 23% female students prefer home for individual counselling whereas 14% male student prefer community.
Higher education is far lower than expected among both parents. Fathers are more educated compared to mothers. Illiteracy level of mothers is higher than compared to fathers. Maximum interested students belong to parents with education level up to SLC. The above chart shows us that students with illiterate mothers are more interested in these products than illiterate father i.e. 22%, 20% and 20% in career workshop, individual counselling and online assessment respectively. The finding shows that students with highly educated parents are not interested in career workshop. On contrary, students whose parents are highly educated or just have minimum education are more interested to use these products.
In the light of these conclusions, the need of career workshop at school and individual counselling at home seems higher for female population from village area especially from the government school students whose mothers are illiterate. Happy New Year 2072
On the very auspicious occasion of Nepali New Year 2072 B.S. We would like to express our best wishes for all the supporters of Career Disha Nepal. We believe this New Year will boost our spirit to devote more efforts towards our goal. As morning shows the day, we have many good news to share for all at this moment. I request you to hold your excitement till we explain them all.
First of all, it feels really great to have a new office area full of new positive vibes with open space for an open mind. Yes! We have moved to a new and nice location to motivate ourselves for the organizational tasks. Now we have new faces in CDN who join us to help us achieving our goals. Ms. Sabnam Shrestha, a very enthusiastic person who have been studying International Business Studies at Finland. She joined CDN as the intern for four months. Mr. Pujan Raj Ranjit who is also one of the charter members of CDN has now joined as the communication and media manager. Another good news comes as we are opening a contact office in the capital city.
Finally, we are all convinced that we achieved at least a bit of success after we launched our Demo Version of our Interest Based Testing Tool into the online web (http://demo.careerdishanepal.org/). Now it feels as if all the hard work has finally paid off and we have some real time example to show how our project will work. This demo version consists the core formulation that we are implementing on our final test application but we still have many back-end tasks to be done before real-time implementation.
Looking back to the past year 2071 B.S. we have gained a lot of new experience including Crowdfunding of our project which indeed helped us both to get financial and moral support. We would like to thank all our supporters for believing us. We will try our best to get desired output within a specific timeline.
Overall, the year 2071 went good to us and we are planning for a better year 2072 and with all these good things happening at the beginning of the year we are certain that we will rise high this year.

While payback can be unpredictable in the short term, most online slots games pay back over 90% of the money wagered in the long term. Eri pankeilla on käytössään hieman erilaiset tunnistautumismenetelmät, mutta useimmiten homman voi tehdä kokonaan esimerkiksi puhelimella. I am going see ‘Spectre’ in a few hours https://besteonlinecasinonl.com/. To me that seems a bit shady; why would a casino not want to give you all the information to make it easy to deposit at once, versus having to drag it out.
Well, then you will have already been graced with the TAU experience. Also, self-parking and street parking facilities are available too. The bartender this morning at the bar by the front desk never washed his hands in the hour we sat at the counter http://onlinecasinoromania.com/. What’s more, their 24/7 live support feature super fast native app means that everything at Play Ojo is smooth and player friendly.
